[Personality]
It's been a few years since she met up with Cloud and the gang. Yuffie has grown a lot and she’s not AS obnoxious as she use to be. Though, she’s still pretty cocky and headstrong. Not to mention she hasn’t lost that motor mouth of hers. She still likes to refer to herself as, ‘The Great Ninja Yuffie Kisaragi’, 'The Single White Rose of Wutai', and other self-proclaimed titles. The girl just can’t pass up an opportunity for flashy introductions. Even when she met up with Vincent, shortly after saving him in the most DASHING manner, she had to give a grand speech for swooping in and saving the day.
Yuffie is usually the cheerful and enthusiastic one in the group. Even if things don’t exactly look like they’re going too well and everyone else is in a down mood, Yuffie will pipe up trying to give some good ol’ fashioned motivation and cheer. Besides, if there’s anything she can’t stand it's awkward silence. There isn’t a whole lot that can bring down her good mood, unless someone is intentionally trying to get on her bad side. That usually earns you a nice place on her list of people she considers big fat jerks. Don’t think she won’t take some insults without giving some back. It gets that short temper of hers fired up. If something is bothering her or she's in a down mood she tries not to show it.
Yuffie is very approachable. If anything she usually ends up approaching others first, especially if they look interesting enough (or have something interesting). A girl this cute with an inviting smile has to be approachable right? Right! If she likes you enough you’ll be fortunate or unfortunate enough for her to tag along with you a lot or just bug you. Since, that’s what friends do. Even with friends like Vincent and Cloud she just has to bother them and brighten their day and try to break that strong, silent macho thing they have going on. Moreso an attempt to get them to socialize more. Since Vincent doesn't seem to pick up his phone too often when she calls to bother him. What's the point of even having one?
If there’s one thing she likes to do with her friends that would be ‘teasing’ them. Well, she’ll tease other people too, but it’s all in good fun...for her anyway. If she notices she can embarrass someone easily she’ll definitely go out of her way to get them flustered. It’s rather fun getting people all riled up with just a few words. She's not terribly modest, but it's not impossible to embarrass her if you know what buttons to push. Though you might end up getting her in a hissy fit too, which will show off that hot temper she has.
This girl likes to stay active. She can't just sit in one place and twiddle her thumbs. She has to be up and moving around or else she gets VERY bored. Which she'll complain about if someone so happens to be around for her to fuss about it. Perhaps even trying to coax them into doing something about it.
With being a ninja and all, one of Yuffie’s strong points is agility. Though she can also be a helpless clutz at times. Especially when she’s enthralled with herself; like when she fell back and hit her head while giving her super awesome speech to Vincent. It also showed she doesn’t have a big tolerance for pain. If she gets hit and it HURTS then you can expect to hear a lot of complaining and whining on her end about it. Though at times she’ll play it off, even if it hurts to high Shiva she's gotta show how tough she is...or isn't.
At times it seems like Yuffie might not be the most mature person or the brightest crayon in the box, but there is a brain to match the cute face. Reeve wouldn’t have made her head of WRO intelligence for nothing if she wasn’t, right? Who better to gather information that they need than her? Then again the man fiddles with mechanical puppets and the like. But hey, at least someone recognizes and appreciates her skills! She is a very skilled fighter and a tactical one at that.
Speaking of appreciation. She absolutely loves, loves, LOVES materia. It’s a girls best friend. Some say she might have an unhealthy obsession with it, but it’s not as bad as it used to be. Though, she won’t pass up the chance to get some when the opportunity arises. She doesn’t just collect them, she also strives to master them. What good is materia if you aren’t even going to put it to use? She does enjoy valuable items.
Too bad materia can’t fix her ongoing problem. No matter if it’s a plane, boat, car, train...Yuffie can’t help but get that queasy feeling in the bottom of her stomach. Due to her motion sickness she absolutely hates any mode of transportation if it’s not on foot. She can force herself to get on one, especially Cid’s airship if she absolutely has to. Too bad she hasn’t learned how to keep a tranquilizer or two on her in these situations.
[Abilities]
Being a ninja, Yuffie has a range of skills that focus on stealth and agility. When she isn’t tripping over her own two feet she can be very stealthy and quiet. She’s also very limber. Backflips, cartwheels, front flips, somersaults, handstands, wall running, running up walls...name it and she can probably do it.
What she lacks in strength she makes up for in agility and flexibility. She can get in multiple hits this way, which can be effective in catching someone off guard. As quick as she is, it’s rather hard to catch her and she can easily dodge attacks unless they can match her speed.
Yuffie can easily use magic, but this is only when she has materia in her possession. Due to her obsession with the orbs she can use materia without any trouble. Though even so, using it constantly can leave her tired.
She has a physical healing ability, Clear Tranquil, that can heal herself and others. Though she doesn't use it often, it's a handy ability to have. Also, she has a number of other limit breaks she uses. Though she mostly uses ‘Greased Lightning’, a quick attack with her weapon against a single opponent that causes massive physical damage depending on who or what she’s up against. 'Doom of the Living' is a very useful technique that helps her attack her opponent from all sides with great speed at close range. The damage given is cumulative.
Yuffie is trained in numerous throwing weapons including kunais, shurikens, and boomerangs. Though her weapon of choice is her large 4-point shuriken.
Not a redeeming feature, but she's pretty good at picking locks and stealing without being noticed. Though, she hasn't done a lot of stealing since she joined up with Cloud and the others, so she's been behaving herself. You never know when you might need to pick a lock though.
Though it's been awhile, she can make some pretty good booby traps.

Do I look like I'm wearing a watch to you?

Huh!? What?! Keep your dirty paws off my materia unless you want this shuriken up your ass!

Being a hero is overrated enough since I am one. You don't even get a thank you these days or anything return. Man some people.

By who? Both Cloud and Zack both owe me a date. Both stood me up. Zack, twice! I want the most expensive, super magical date ever! And I'm not wearing a dress this time. They missed out.

I rather not have Wutai in another war...it was hard enough losing to the likes of ShinRa and also losing some of my people. Especially the ones I care about...

[Third Person]
She didn''t think she'd be back here again of all places. It took Yuffie a moment for everything to catch up with her. This place and then this house she was living in when she was here. The window slid up slowly and Yuffie pulled herself in minding the trip wire that was placed just below on the floor. This was the room she was staying in before. It was nice to know that no one had moved in while she had poofed. Looking around everything looked the same. She figured Leon probably didn't attempt to clean her room due to any trip wires or booby traps that might be around the room. Her room minus well be some sort of death trap with all the pillows casually thrown around.
"Leon's either smart or lazy...though the latter usually doesn't fit him."
The young woman scratched the back of her head briefly. Her eyes glanced over to the corner where there were a pile of origami cranes settled there. Oh, right...she remembered who she had made them for. She wondered if he had came back too... Well, no time to be getting all sentimental about it and all.
"Leon would probably like to know that I'm here. I wondered if he missed me at all." She paused and shook her head, "Right, I answered my own question. It's Leon."
Not like he'd admit it if he did. He always had that 'oh so serious, poker face' on him or just a line face. She figured that was his default facial expression. Yuffie took a step forward and stopped. Leon didn't know she was here.
There was a cheshire cat grin making its way on her lips at the words repeating themselves in her head.
"What better way to welcome myself back by surprising him a little. Hee, hee..."
I'm so clever I amaze even myself.
Too bad she was too wrapped in her own thoughts to remember the next trip wire in front of her door, which she stepped on. She yelped out and made a cry of frustration as she was strung upside down by her ankle to the ceiling.
"DAMMIT! Ugh! I forgot about that one! Stupid, stupid...!"
She was going to spend a moment struggling getting herself down. Hopefully she'd get down by the time those approaching footsteps got here.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Well, I really enjoyed playing Yuffie here. It was always interesting.
